Details of the latest Alberta draw

On July 29, 2022, Alberta issued 120 Notification of Interest (NOI) letters through the Express Entry-linked stream of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP). The AAIP stream set a few important requirements for those candidates who;

  • Want to immigrate to the province permanently
  • Working in an occupation to support the economic development and diversification

Alberta Advantage Immigration Program

Alberta called as the energy province of Canada is one of thirteen provinces and territories, which is considered a home country for more than 4 million individuals.

The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has a fixed number of nominations in the AAIP targeting mainly to invite the foreign nationals who are willing to migrate to Canada.

On July 29, 2022, Alberta issued 120 Notification of Interest (NOI) letters through the Express Entry-linked stream of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) with a Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) of 473.

 . The AAIP stream set a few important requirements for those candidates who;

  • Want to immigrate to the province permanently
  • Working in an occupation to support the economic development and diversification

Alberta has a federal government allocation of 6,500 provincial nominations for 2022. It has currently issued 3,877.

The province also has 1,150 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 400 expression of interest applications in the Alberta Express Entry pool.

Alberta says a high number of AAIP applications have been received in the following occupations, meaning they may take longer to process:
