  • The rate of employment in Germany has crossed the levels recorded in 2019 by 0.3 percent.
  • Currently, there are two million job vacancies in Germany with 150,000 migrants employed in the country as of September 2022.
  • The number of people in non-seasonal jobs in Germany has increased by 0.5 percent compared to 2021.
  • The number of people in seasonal jobs in Germany has increased by 0.9 percent compared to 2021.
  • As of September 2022, there are 45.6 million German residents who are working in a job. A significant part of these is immigrants.
  • Compared to August 2022, there has been an increase of 12,000 workers in Germany.
  • Compared to September 2021, in September 2022, there were 147,000 more people employed in Germany. Percentage-wise, in September 2021 3.3 percent of residents were unemployed, while in September 2022, 1.3 percent of residents were unemployed.
