Details of the Express Entry draw from August 3, 2022

Canada has sent 2,000 ITAs to the immigration candidates on August 3, 2022 through Express Entry making the candidates from the FSWP and CEC also eligible to receive an invitation.

These candidates existing in the registration pool are ranked using the points-based system which is known as Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

All-program Express Entry draw

On August 3, 2022, Canada has held a new draw for the immigration candidates through Express Entry program who are eligible to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

This draw sent 2,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to the candidates with a minimum CRS score of 553, nine points lesser than the previous draw conducted on July 20, 2022. Additionally, this draw has invited 250 candidates compared to the previous draw that invited 1,750 candidates.

Since this draw doesn’t have any specified program, the immigration candidates were eligible to apply from:

• The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
• The Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

According to the World Education Services (WES) research, one of the IRCC designated Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) providers stated that there is a high demand for FSWP candidates to proceed with the Canadian immigration process.
