463 Express Entry candidates advance to Canada PR after EE draw

It was another chance for provincially nominated Express Entry candidates to apply for Canada PR. On August 18, 2021, a round of invitations had invitations sent to 463 such candidates. The minimum CRS score required of those candidates was 751.

Canada is continuing to find suitable and skilled immigration candidates from PNP and CEC streams, focusing mostly on them in every federal draw for Canada immigration. These candidates are mostly available in Canada to move in as Canada PR, least affected by COVID-related travel restrictions.

But that doesn’t make things hard for overseas candidates anymore. Canada is opening up to receive more overseas immigration candidates. This is evident from the recent development wherein immigration candidates whose immigration applications are approved are exempted from travel restrictions.

More about the August 18 draw

Wonder how the minimum CRS scores are so high in the August 18 draw? This was due to the 600 extra CRS points awarded to candidates when they were provincially nominated through an earlier PNP draw.

A tie-break rule was also implemented in the draw. By this rule, candidates who submitted their Express Entry profiles before April 13, 2021, at 16:29:29 UTC had the eligibility to be invited to apply for Canada PR.

Canada is keen on inviting more and more immigration candidates through PNP and federal draws these days. They have to meet the ambitious immigration targets as well as get even more skilled foreigners to help the country’s provinces to revive and flourish.
