Quebec has made it easier for employers to hire temporary foreign workers to fill up the vacant positions. The province has expanded the number of jobs so that immigrants can qualify for the process easily so that people can migrate to Quebec to work.
There are 287 occupations in the new list for the facilitated LMIA. The number of jobs added is 65 and it led to a change in the number of jobs from 222 to 287. The occupations for the Skill Level C have been added on May 24.

Employers do not need to provide any proof of recruitment efforts to hire temporary workers. But still, Quebec encourages the employers to first give preference to Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
A transition plan is required for LMIA applications. Under the facilitated process of Quebec, there is no requirement of any transition plan for the first application. For the second request and further, there is a requirement of a transition plan.
