Details for Immigrants to Choose Europe

The EU had 31 million enterprises employing 156 million people. Together, micro and small enterprises engaged 7.9 million people, of whom 98% were micro-enterprises, and 49% were small enterprises. They generated a total of $ 3.3 trillion in value-added. The 240,000 medium-sized enterprises employed 24 million people, adding a value of € 1.6 trillion.

Although large enterprises show an employment rate of 0.2% (249 employees), they employ more than a third of the business labor force. They generated almost half the value added, 48%, which is 4.4 trillion.

The Structural Business Statistics (SBS) is being framed for European Business Statistics (EBS).SBS covers more variables and economic activities, for example (education, human health and social work, arts, entertainment, and recreation) and financial and insurance activities.

Changes that happened in 2021 in Enterprises

According to a recent study, the industry sector had the most significant turnover in 2021. It generated one-third of the turnover and employed one-fifth of the business labor force. However, in the most minor sectors, it only reached 8% of employment. With 5.9 million enterprises:

  • The trade sector represented 19% of total employment
  • The construction sector represented 12% of total employment
  • The ‘other services’ 61% of total employment

However, these enterprises employed almost half of the people, though the turnover was less than one-third.
