Abstract: Alberta invited 250 candidates from the Express Entry pool with lowest CRS score of 356.
Highlights:
On April 14, 2022, the Energy Province of Canada, Alberta, conducted a draw. It invited 250 applicants for Canada PR or permanent residency.
The lowest score in the draw was 356. It is higher than the last draw's minimum score by 31 points.
The province linked its Alberta Advantage Immigration Program with the Express Entry and issued ITAS or Invitation to apply to the people who qualified in the pool.

Alberta Express Entry
The stream of Alberta Express Entry requires that the candidates state an interest in immigrating to the province permanently. The applicants should be employed in an occupation supporting Alberta's diversification and economic development.
Alberta achieved its target of nomination set by the federal government in 2021. The limit was 6,250. The limit for 2022 is not known yet.
The province has 775 applications for the Alberta Opportunity Stream and applications for expression of interest numbers to 775 in the pool of Alberta Express Entry.
