Overview of the Canberra draw

A Canberra Matrix draw was held on September 13, 2022, inviting Canberra residents and overseas applicants. The candidates invited through this draw are eligible to apply for ACT Nomination and they require a minimum score of 90 points to be invited.

The Australian Capital Territory (ACT), issues limited invitations to the candidates who are willing to migrate to Australia which is pro-rata against the annual allotment.

ACT (Canberra) draw held on September 13, 2022

On September 13, 2022, Australia’s Canberra sent 208 invitations to the residents of Canberra, and overseas applicants. The candidates with a high rank from each occupation were invited to apply for the nomination to the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).

The immigration candidates required a score of at least 90 points to get invited. Based on the time, date, and monthly allocation, the candidates were selected with a cut-off score. Higher rank via matrix score is assigned to occupations with high demand.
