Here’s one important Australia immigration news. Some important rules updates were announced by DHA for temporary migrants onshore planning to go out of the country.
These updates were announced a day after Scott Morrisson, the Australian PM, made another announcement. This announcement said that fully vaccinated Australian visa holders who are eligible have no need to lodge an application for a travel exemption prior to coming into the country. This will be applied from December 1, 2021.
Temporary Australian visa holders who aren’t within the purview of the new arrangements for visa holders deemed eligible have the option of applying for an inwards exemption. This application must be lodged before they leave Australia. This is applicable for eligible visa holders who leave Australia before December 1, 2021.
These eligible visa holders could be holding a Subclass 500, Subclass 485, Subclass 476, or Subclass 457 visa.
Meanwhile, Scott Morrison is going ahead with steps to reopen Australia in a safe and secure manner. There's an emphasis on ensuring that family reunions do not pose a health threat. Also, he aims at achieving economic recovery of Australia happening smoothly after opening the country’s borders to student and skilled visa holders.
More international students and skilled workers returning to Australia will be highly beneficial to the process of Australia’s economic recovery. This influx is currently vital for the revival of Australia’s educational and economic sector.
