Australia Subclass 489 Visa updates by NSW Regional Authorities

NSW Regional Authorities in Northern Inland have announced that the application processing for Australia Subclass 489 Visa has been closed temporarily. The processing will reopen on 1 July 2018. Nevertheless, applications can still be submitted until June 30, 2018. But these will be processed only after July 1, 2018.

Additionally, it has been announced by Northern Inland that below-mentioned occupations will be eliminated from its RDA list from 1 July 2018:

• Secondary School Teacher
• Quantity Surveyor

The applications for these occupations that have been submitted prior to 30 June 2018 12 pm will be eligible for nomination. Applications that will be received after the specified time and date will be unsuccessful, as quoted by the Industry NSW Gov Au.

Orana

One of the NSW Regional Authorities Orana has also declared that it is also provisionally closing the applications till 1 July 2018. The Australia Subclass 489 Visa application process will recommence from July 1, 2018.

Candidates are required to fulfill the below key criterions for applying to the Australia 489 Visa:

• Satisfy the minimum criteria for the 489 visa specified by Department of Home Affairs
• Be appropriately skilled in a job on the SOL for 489 visa
• Submit application directly to the RDA NSW and meet any extra criteria specified by the region
• Must be successful in obtaining a nomination for 489 visas by the participating RDA
• Oblige to work and reside in the region that has nominated you
