The government of Australia has announced in its federal budget proposals for 2017-18 that Australia visa application charges will be increased for a majority of the visas with effect from July 1, 2017. The increase in Australia visa application charge is in conformity with the hike in consumer prices in adherence with the rate of inflation. This will ensure that the price hike is not a drastic one for the Australia visa applicants, as quoted by the Puttlegalcomau.
