Canadian provinces are looking for qualified and experienced talents in the field of technology. This was why on September 21, 2021, British Columbia held a BC PNP tech draw to issue invitations to 74 tech-skilled immigration candidates. These individuals were invited to apply for a provincial nomination from British Columbia.
The BC PNP tech program
The BC PNP tech is a fast-track Canada immigration program. This program is designed with tech workers and international students in mind. These foreign tech workers are in demand in British Columbia.
BC PNP Tech is actually a pilot program. The program has been indefinitely extended. It was also renamed “BC PNP Tech”.
This program enables tech employers in British Columbia to employ and retain international workers skilled in their field when they cannot find such candidates locally in the province.
BC PNP Tech paves the way for skilled workers in 29 tech jobs to get a prioritized pathway to Canada PR.
