The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) will be inviting the immigration candidates who are present in the registration to submit their immigration applications to the program.

The information that is provided in the applications is used to rank, select and invite the immigration candidates who are supposed to meet the job market and economic needs of British Columbia, depending on the factors mentioned below:

  • Occupation
  • Language skills
  • Wage or skill level of job offer
  • Education – field, and level of education
  • Intent to live, settle and work in a particular region
  • Strategic priorities – factors that address the labor market with specific requirements

The immigration invitations may be aimed to promote the government priorities of British Columbia, such as promoting a few specific business sectors, assisting strategic pilot projects, protecting the integrity of the program, and encouraging regional immigration.
