Highlights: British Columbia PNP announces three new streams for international students

• As announced in Jan 2025, the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is inter-changing the current two streams (International Graduate and Post-Graduate Streams) with three new streams.
• The three new streams are the Bachelor’s stream, Master’s stream, and Doctorate stream.
• ALL the three graduate streams require a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 8.
• Students who are not eligible for the new BCPNP streams can apply for other BCPNP streams.

The new graduate streams for international graduate programs:

 

• The Bachelor's Stream: This stream will focus on recent bachelor's degree graduates from eligible institutions. Graduates who have a permanent job offer can apply for this category.
• The Master's Stream: This stream focuses on master's degree graduates from eligible post-secondary institutions in any subject. Graduates with at least one year of full-time job experience can apply for this category.
• The Doctorate Stream: This stream focuses on graduates and doctoral-level candidates from eligible post-secondary colleges. Graduates and Doctorate candidates are eligible for this category.

 

Students who are not eligible for the new BCPNP streams can apply for other BCPNP streams that are available .
