British Columbia (BC) has once again welcomed foreign candidates with tech skills to join the province in many in-demand occupations. The province conducted its Tech Pilot draw on April 29, 2020. In this draw, 75 candidates were invited to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence.
These candidates came under the Express Entry and Skills Immigration streams. They were invited to join the province through Canada immigration. Each chosen candidate has a valid job offer in one of the occupations given below.

The candidates who received invitations belonged to Skilled Worker and International Graduate categories. The minimum score they needed to have was 85.
The Express Entry BC (EEBC) candidates have to register themselves under the BC’s Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) and federal Express Entry system. Skills Immigration candidates need to register only with SIRS.
Express Entry candidates are awarded an additional 600 points to their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
