Different sectors noticed an increase in the number of job vacancies. In October, the job vacancies were 633,400 which was unchanged since September, following consecutive month decreases from May to September. The number of unfilled job sectors in October was regarded as the lowest since February.
The total labor demand concerning filled and unfilled positions declined to (-87,500; -0.5%).

The Job vacancies rose in Quebec by (+7,700 to 151,100) in October. In September, there was a monthly decrease to (-21,100; -8.7%).In October, the job vacancies in Saskatchewan (-5,000 to 19,000) and Prince Edward Island (-800 to 2,400) were decreased.
In October, the highest was in British Columbia (4.3%) and the lowest in Newfoundland and Labrador (3.0%).
