Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the second round of the French category-based selection draw on July 12, 2023. A total of 3,800 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued to candidates under the French-language proficiency category. The minimum CRS score required by the candidates to get an invitation under the category was 375.
The draw was an all-program draw, and candidates from the Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program, and Federal Skilled Trades Program were invited.

Canada's Express Entry draw is seeing a shift in its priorities since the category-based draws were introduced. IRCC has invited 10,100 candidates in the past two weeks, and only 1500 candidates came through all-program draws.
To date, under the category-based draws, the country has invited 6,100 for French-speakers, 2,000 healthcare workers, and 500 STEM professionals.
