• Employment rose by 41,000 in Canada in February 2024.
• Canada employment rose between core-aged from 25 to 54 years old women and men.
• Employed increased in Alberta and Nova Scotia

The employment rate increased among core-aged men and women:

In February, the employment rate increased among core-aged women and aged men. For the core-aged women, the first employment rate increased in September 2023.To compare from February 2023 to February 2024, the employment rate increased among core-aged women by 81.4%, whereas among men it increased by 87.2%.
