  • Australia and China will provide each other citizenship with multiple-entry visas for five years.

Reason to take this initiative

The background of the announcement is to improve relation between the two countries: Australia and China. The requirements for visitors to enter China are simplified now: those who want to do business and travel purposes. As per the announcement, China will include Australia in its visa-waiver scheme, allowing Australians to visit the country for 15 days without a visa.
