Details about the Award show 2023 

Croatia won the Most Desirable Destination Europe award on 7 November 2023. Spain conquered the second position with coveted silver for Europe's Most Desirable Destination of 2023. Italy beat the third position with a prestigious bronze distinction. Croatia won this award out of nine other nominated countries, out of which 

Seven countries are:  

• Greece
• France
• Germany
• Slovenia
• Iceland
• Scotland 
• Austria

 Croatia is situated in central and southeast Europe. The country is blessed with stunning islands and other attractions, making it an ideal place to visit. This ancient city in Croatia won 4th place in last year's award. Wanderlust awards and recognitions are based on the most desirable destinations, tour operators, and airline carriers worldwide. Croatia has always been listed as the best regarding its reputation in tourism. Apart from its beauty, the country has many cultural revelations and adventures.  

The country receiving the award was unexpected. According to the report, Croatia saw 19.8 million travelers in just one month after joining the Schengen Visa Accession.
