Abstract: Among the post-pandemic draws, the draw held on October 26, 2022, saw a CRS score of below 500. The all-program Express Entry draw of Canada saw a minimum CRS or Comprehensive Ranking System score decrease to below 500. It happened for the first time since conducting of draws was resumed post-pandemic. The draw was held on October 26, 2022. Drop in CRS Score of All-Program Express Entry Draws

The recent Express Entry draw required a minimum of 496 points in CRS. The score is 4 points less than the eligibility score in the previous draw. It issued 4,750 ITAs or Invitations to Apply, which is the highest figure since the resumption of all-program Express Entry draws. The candidates who were sent invitations can apply for Canada PR visa or permanent residency. The recent draw implemented the tie-breaking rule at 5.04 am EST on May 9, 2022. If more than one applicant had an equal minimum CRS score, only the applicants who submitted their Express Entry profiles before the specific date and time were issued invitations. The draw was the 22nd Express Entry draw in 2022 and the 234th draw since it was launched. IRCC or Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada has declared that new applications will be processed within 6 months for Express Entry.
