*Want to work abroad? Talk to Y-Axis for complete guidance
Since Monday, January 1, 2024, France has started operating a new business known as the "Olympic Consulate," which will proceed with an application of 15,000 international athletes, 9,000 journalists, and delegations of foreign countries participating in the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The system established a proper function so that the application for the Olympics would stay consistent with the flood of files being processed at French Visa centres abroad.
The application will be filed entirely online via the French Visa platform, making France the first EU country to take the initiative of online application.
These 70,000 people will be liable to have their visa affixed to their passport rather than directly into their accreditation cards.
As per the news, the Olympic and Paralympic Games in France will be held from July 26 to August 11 and from August 28 to September 8, 2024. The country is expecting around 1.5 million spectators around the world.
France's Government is taking primary care by investing money and energy so that there won't be any security threats during these games, which will be held for the first time in the century.
It is also one of the primary reasons for the postponement of the launch of the entry or exit system.
