Details about the new platform “Work bundle”:

The “Work bundle” initial phase begins with Dubai, but slowly, it will expand into the Emirates. The Work Bundle will improve the customer experience within one platform instead of five, reducing procedures from eight services to one single service platform. This initiative also improved certain procedures, such as:

 

• The required step previously was 15  (i.e. 16 documents) which was reduced to five steps (5 documents)
• Other than that, it also reduced the number of visits for transaction procedure from 7 visits to 2 visits
• The processing time of work visa is reduced from 30 days to five working days

 

The “Work bundle” includes all-in-one employment services for cancellation, renewal, medical examination, and fingerprint.

 

The new “Work bundle” platform aims to get back 62 million working days entirely focused on renewing residencies and employment. Annually, this project is expected to reduce 25 million procedures, resulting as a time saving procedure for both the governmental and private sectors.

 

The “Work bundle” combines all the procedures for government entities, which includes entities like :

 

• Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation
• The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship
• Customs and Ports Security
• The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai
• Dubai Health.
