The cut-off score for the draw was 782. The minimum score was high because the applicants get an additional 600 points in the CRS if they are selected from the PNP or Provincial Nominee Program. If the applicants were not awarded additional points, the lowest score would be 182. In the last round, IRCC or Immigration, Refugees, and Citizens Canada invited 919 candidates from the PNP pool with a cut-off score of 785. ITAs in 2022 During the 1st quarter of 2022, Canada invited 6,470 candidates from the Express Entry pool. It was the lowest figure for the first quarter since the pathway's launch in 2015. The less number of invitations were the result of IRCC inviting only candidates in the PNP pool. The draws for CEC or Canadian Experience Class were stopped in September 2021. Prior to the pandemic, the draws were not based on programs. It implies that the candidates in the Express Entry pathway were eligible to be invited to apply. Due to the travel restrictions during the pandemic, Canada focussed on reaching its record-breaking target of invitation to immigrants by converting the temporary residents into permanent residents. This method increased the number of Express Entry applications to increase. The FSWP or Foreign Skilled Workers Program applications were considered applications of overseas immigrants.
