Details of recent #299 Express Entry Draw

The recent #299 Express Entry Draw invited 920 eligible candidates for PNP Draw with a minimum CRS score of 739.

 

IRCC issues ITAs through the Express Entry Draw to select eligible candidates and candidate profiles for the Express Entry Pool, which invites them to apply for Canada PR.

 

The Express Entry Draw selects eligible candidates from the Express Entry Pool based on the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score. The CRS score depends on language proficiency, work experience, etc.

Eligibility Criteria of Express Entry Draw

To be eligible for an express entry draw, the candidate must score 67 points to qualify for the Express Entry program. The 67 points can be scored via different eligibility criteria.

 

Below are the eligibility requirements for the Express Entry Program:

Age: Candidate can score maximum points between 18-35 years. Candidates above this age will score fewer points.

 

Education: The minimum candidate education level must be equivalent to Canada’s higher secondary education level.  

 

Work Experience: Candidates can score minimum points if they have one year of work experience. The more year of work experience can score more points.

 

Language proficiency: Candidates must score six bands in the IELTS equal to CLB 7 to be eligible to apply and score minimum points.

 

Adaptability: Candidates can score points on the adaptability factor if their family or close relative lives in Canada and can support them in migrating to Canada. Candidates will also gain points if their spouse or legal partner lives in Canada.

 

Arranged employment: The Candidate must have a valid employer job offer, which will help them to score 10 points.
