Abstract: Australia has increased its permanent immigration intake from 160,000 to 195,000.
On September 2, 2022, Australia in its Jobs and Skills Summit announced that it will increase the Australia PR or permanent residency intake by 35,000. It would be 195,000 from the previous 160,000.

The Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, announced at the Jobs and Skills Summit, that 180,000 slots would be offered in vocational education schools from the next year. It has been allotted funds of 1.1 billion AUD to reduce the skills shortage in Australia.
The Australian Minister of Home Affairs, Clare O'Neil has announced that it will increase the intake of Australia PR candidates for June 30, 2023, during the two-day Jobs and Skills Summit. New policies were announced to increase and make it convenient for the people who wish to migrate to Australia.
