Indian degrees to get recognized in Australia

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced that Australia and India have finalized the 'Australia-India Education Qualification Recognition Mechanism.'

As per the new Mechanism, the hard-earned Indian degrees of an Indian student studying in Australia or who has studied in the country will be recognized when they come back to their home country. Also, if you are an Indian in Australia, your Indian qualifications will also get recognized in Australia.

Maitri Scholarship for Indian students

The Australian Premier also said that his government would introduce Maitri Scholarship for Indian students who wish to study in Australia for up to four years.

The scholarship is a part of the Maitri program that has been launched to boost educational, community, and cultural ties between Australia and India.
