• On September 15, 2022, the Prince Edward Island PNP issued 147 invitations to immigration candidates
• This was the first PEI PNP draw in September 2022
• The candidates were invited under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur and Labour & Express Entry streams
• 142 overseas applicants were invited under the Labor Impact and Express Entry stream
• 5 applicants were invited under the Business Impact category

Details of the PEI PNP draw

Prince Edward Island held its first provincial draw in September 2022 on the 15^th of this month, inviting 147 immigration candidates. They were invited under the Business Impact and Labour & Express Entry streams and required a minimum score of 85 points.

PEI Provincial Nominee Program held on September 15, 2022

The first Prince Edward Island PNP draw of September 2022 invited 147candidates who are skilled workers and entrepreneurs. They were selected from the Business Impact category and Labour & Express Entry streams.

These candidates required a minimum score of 85 points to be eligible to be invited. Of the total number of invitations, 142 immigration candidates were invited from the Labor Impact and Express Entry category and 5 from the Business Impact category.

Prince Edward Island Express Entry Stream

The Express Entry stream of Prince Edward Island PNP invites immigration candidates from the Federal Express Entry Pool. Upon getting nominated, 600 points will be added automatically to their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, assuring an Invitation to Apply (ITA) during a federal immigration draw.

The PEI PNP Express Entry Category offers two pathways to obtain Canadian permanent residence they are,

• Pathway for candidates without a job offer
• Pathway for those with a job offer

Prince Edward Island Business Impact Category (Work Permit Stream)

According to the Business Impact Work Permit Performance Agreement, immigration candidates who apply under the stream of PEI Work Permit must work for a business for a specific period in the province, or have a work permit in Canada.

As soon as the agreement completes, it is mandatory to make an investment of at least $150,000 in the business and manage the business within the province.
