On July 21, 2022, the reform, introduced by the parliament, has received most of the votes, especially from the left and Socialist parties. The new immigration law is set to begin in the next few days in which, foreigners who are looking for good job opportunities in Portugal will receive a temporary visa with a validity of 120 days. Under the new reform laws, this temporary visa will be made available for extension by 60 days.

Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the President of the Portugal country, has approved the amendment towards the immigration law of Portugal to reconstruct the recruitment procedure, making it easier for the foreign workers to travel.
