The latest news from US immigration circles is that the USCIS has started to recognize “Market Research Analysts” in the category of specialty occupation. Candidates in this occupation will now have the eligibility for an H1B visa to work in USA.

In 2020, a class-action suit was filed to stop USCIS from denying the position of Market Research Analyst a blanket visa. In this regard, the USCIS reached a settlement, resulting in this new development.

The H1B visa allows skilled foreign workers to arrive in the US and work for American companies. It’s necessary for the migrant to be employed in a specific field that needs specialized knowledge. The foreigner will be recruited and granted an H1B visa only if the US employer isn’t able to find a worker from the US native population.
