The new point-based German Opportunity Card allows non-EU candidates to reside in Germany without the need for a permanent job.The opportunity card is also a residency permit for one year. This Opportunity Card aims to attract skilled workers to the country.The non-EU residents will be provided with sufficient funds for their stay in the country.
The Opportunity Card allows legal entry to Germany, offers a good chance of earning a good income, and provides the potential for permanent residency. After the application is successful, candidates will receive immediate work permit.
The German Opportunity Card initiates a simplified job search process in Germany. For this, the applicant must complete the eligibility criteria:

The points are calculated based on age, professional experience, language skills, and previous stay in Germany. Candidates need to score six points to qualify. Basic requirements include language proficiency and financial security, and contract for part-time work. Here are the basic requirements to score points.

2 Points |
Applicants under 40 years old or those with previous stays in Germany, excluding tourist visits. |
