Australia NSW Skilled Visa nomination will only consider those occupations in 2018-19 those are present on the NSW priority list. Only EOIs of those immigrant applicants who have occupations present on the list will be considered for the nomination.

The EOIs remain valid for 2 years. The EOI will be considered for nomination in this 2 year period. This is subject to your occupation being present on the latest NSW priority list for occupations. Minimum 65 points will also have to be obtained required for the Australia NSW Skilled Visa.

NSW sends invitations for nomination to applicants all throughout the fiscal year. There are no specific dates set aside for this purpose, as quoted by the Australian.

Applicants will receive correspondence from NSW only if they have been invited for a nomination. The numbers of invitations offered are determined by a continuing process. Only the top-ranked candidates in each category of occupation will first receive the invitations.

The candidates are offered invitations for NSW nomination as per the criteria specified on the website of NSW. The candidates will not be prioritized for invitations on the basis of losing points or expiry of visa.

Obtaining a nomination from NSW to apply for the Australia 190 Skilled Visa implies a specific obligation for the recipients. They and their dependents will have to work and live in NSW for the first 24 months of the visa. This period starts on the day of arrival as PR immigrants to Australia. For those who are already in Australia, it begins from the date the Department of Home Affairs approves the visa.

Once NSW receives a complete application for nomination, it will be aimed to be finalized within 6 weeks.
