From July 15, 2020, travelers with a tourist visa, from many EU member states will become eligible to enter the territory of Norway. The decision was made after consulting with the Directorate of Health and the Public Health Institute.
Tourists coming from the following European nations can apply for a tourist visa as they will be allowed to visit Norway for non-essential purposes. They won’t also have to quarantine first.
The citizens of Romania, Bulgaria, Portugal, Hungary, Croatia, and other regions of Sweden will have to self-isolate for 10 days upon their arrival.
The Government of Norway has instructed all tourists that they will have to follow all the infection control rules that those who reside in Norway have to follow.
The influx of tourists will bring back great revenue to Norway’s industry and business. The summertime revenues from tourism are generally huge in Norway and efforts are on to bring back such times. A major share of tourists to Norway comes from Germany and the Netherlands.
