Norway’s new rules for Seasonal Work visas apply to specific categories of skilled workers who are holders of such visas and stay outside the country for at least six months before reapplying for the visa. Applicants in painting, carpentry, and other trades cannot apply for the seasonal work visa. However, applicants with roles related to seasonal demand, including harvesting crops and tree planting, logging operations, and tourism and construction jobs, can apply for this work visa.

Norwegian government advises the candidates to start the application as soon as possible which aslo means to sort out the documentation for applications right after securing a job. According to the Norwegian government, it will issue up to 6,000 residence permits for skilled workers as the seasonal workers are in demand in Norway.
