OINP Draw invites 642 candidates under three different streams

• OINP held a draw on October 25, 2022, to invite candidates from the foreign workers, master's graduate, and Ph.D. graduate streams.

• In 2022, so far, 7,479 applicants have been invited under OINP.

Abstract: OINP invited 642 candidates under the foreign workers stream through OINP. On October 25, 2022, Ontario conducted a draw for the candidates in the foreign workers' stream. The OINP or Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program invited 642 candidates from the foreign workers, master's graduate, and Ph.D. graduate streams. OINP is the Provincial Nomination Program of Ontario.   The candidates in the Master's graduate stream who scored 35 and above, and the candidates in the Ph.D. Graduate stream who scored 24 and above were invited. Eligibility Criteria for Ontario PNP

The requirements for the various streams of the OINP are:

1. Foreign Workers Stream

To be eligible to apply under the stream, the candidates are required to fulfill the following job criteria:

• Have a permanent and full-time, and employment opportunity in a highly skilled occupation.
• Meets the required income standard in Ontario for that particular occupation
• Have 2 years of valid work experience
• Be residing or working abroad, visiting or residing in Canada with a valid study or work permit, or visitor record.

2. Masters Graduate Stream

Here are the eligibility criteria for candidates in the Master's graduate stream:

• A post-graduate degree from a DLI or Designated Learning Institute in Ontario
• The required scores in a language proficiency test
• Sufficient Funds
• Intention to reside in Ontario
• Should have lived legally in Ontario for at least 1 year before applying
• Apply in two years after graduating from a Master's study program
• No criminal records
• Health Certificate

3. Ph.D. Graduate Stream

Here are the eligibility criteria for Ph.D. Graduate stream for OINP:

• Doctorate from a DLI in Ontario
• Required scores in the test for language proficiency
• Sufficient funds
• Intention to reside in Ontario
• Should have lived legally in Ontario for at least 1 year before applying
• Apply in 2 years after completing a Ph.D. degree
• No criminal records
• Health Certificate
