Oman welcomes tourists back after a COVID-19 spell

For the first time since the occurrence of COVID-19, Oman will resume granting tourist visa to international travelers willing to visit Oman. These are people visiting the country on trips arranged by travel companies and hotels. Such tour operations have been suspended for quite some time now owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Coronavirus Council of Oman has made the decision that many industrial and commercial activities will be resumed soon. The country is thus on the path of revival.It’s taking the right steps to restart its process of development as it comes out of the pandemic crisis gradually.

An important step in this direction is offeringthe Oman visitor visa to more people. This must be complemented byeasing the restrictions to whatever extent possible along with ensuring security from COVID-19.
