Objective of the Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream

The main objective of the Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream is to expand the construction and agricultural sectors of skilled trades workers.

To be eligible under this stream, the applicants must require:

• Paid work experience: 1 year in the province of Ontario
• Proof of license or any required certificates, as per the selected occupation
• A valid work permit during the stay in Ontario
• A pending application under the system of Federal Express Entry
• Proof of the settlement fund with the sufficient amount that is required by the legal official Low-income cut-offs for you and your dependent
• Language proficiency in English or French, with over five points in reading, listening, writing, and speaking, under the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB)
