Ontario conducted its latest Provincial Nomination Program (Ontario PNP) draw on June 18, 2020. It invited 143 bilingual candidates with profiles in the Express Entry (EE) system to apply for a provincial nomination.

The candidates who were found eligible for invitations had a CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score from 424 to 436. They also had to fulfill the eligibility requirements for Ontario’s EE FSSW (French-Speaking Skilled Worker) stream.

An earlier PNP draw conducted for Canada immigration on June 17 by Ontario had invited candidates for the Express Entry Skilled Trades stream.

The federal Express Entry system manages application for 3 streams namely

The profiles in the federal Express Entry system are ranked on the basis of factors like age, education, work experience, and language skill in English or French.

Candidates who get nomination will get 600 extra points on their original CRS score. This will seal their chance at getting Invitations to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence in an upcoming federal Express Entry draw.

The FSSW candidates must meet the eligibility requirements of the CEC or the Federal Skilled Worker program. They must also have a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of 7 in French and 6 in English.

OINP will contact the selected candidates. They will get 45 days to apply online for their provincial nomination.
