Ontario invites 782 candidates through OINP Draw for three different streams

Highlights of Ontario PNP draw held on August 30, 2022

  • Canada conducted a draw for the candidates of Foreign Workers, Masters Graduate, and Ph.D. Graduate stream of Express Entry.
  • The candidates had to score above 26.
  • Invitees would be sent their ITAs on their online account in OINP e-Filing Portal.

Abstract: OINP has invited 782 applicants from the pool of Foreign Workers, Masters Graduate, and Ph.D. Graduate stream of Canada.

On August 30, 2022, OINP or Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program conducted a draw for applicants in Foreign Workers, Masters Graduate, and Ph.D. Graduate stream of the Express Entry pool of Canada. It issued 782 ITAs or Invitation to Apply to the candidates.

The draw issued ITAs to the candidates with a score of 26 or above in the CRS or Comprehensive Ranking Score.

Applicants who had the required score in the draw were sent ITAs. It brings them a step closer to applying for Canada PR or permanent residency.

The candidates should have submitted their profile in between August 30, 2021 to August 30, 2022.

Eligibility Requirements

The requirements for the various streams of the OINP are:

  1. Foreign Workers Stream

To be eligible to apply, a foreign worker must have a job offer that meets the following criteria:

  • Have a valid, full-time, and permanent job offer in a highly skilled occupation.
  • Meets the required wage standard in Ontario for that specific occupation
  • Have 2 years of work experience
  • Be residing abroad or working, residing, or visiting Canada with a valid study permit, work permit, or visitor record.

  1. Masters Graduate Stream

The OINP offers a chance for international students pursuing Masters Graduates to stay and work in Ontario, permanently. Here are the eligibility requirements:

  • Master's degree from a DLI or Designated Learning Institute in Ontario
  • The required scores in a language proficiency test
  • Adequate Funds
  • Intent to reside in Ontario
  • Should have lived legally in Ontario for a minimum of 1 year before applying
  • Apply in two years after completing a Master's degree
  • Health Certificate
  • No criminal records

  1. D. Graduate Stream

Here are the eligibility requirements for Ph.D. Graduate stream in OINP:

  • D. degree from a DLI in Ontario
  • The required scores in a language proficiency test
  • Adequate funds
  • Intent to reside in Ontario
  • Should have lived legally in Ontario for a minimum of 1 year before applying
  • Apply in two years after completing a Ph.D. degree
  • Health Certificate
  • No criminal records

The candidates will receive their ITAs on their online account in e-Filing portal.
