Ontario issues 755 NOIs under Skilled Trades Stream to apply for a Canada PR

Highlights:

  • Canada held a draw for the candidates of the Skilled Trades stream of Express Entry.
  • The candidates have to score above 310.
  • The candidates were required to submit their application one year before the date of the draw to qualify.

  Abstract: OINP has issued 755 NOI to candidates for Skilled Workers Stream in Canada.   On July 14, 2022, Canada held a draw for the candidates in the Skilled Trades stream of the Express Entry. It issues 755 NOIs or Notification of Interest to the immigrant workers. The draw invited applicants with a score of 310 or above in the CRS or Comprehensive Ranking Score.   *Check your eligibility to Canada through Canada Immigration Points Calculator.

Stream of Skilled Trades

The Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream is aimed at international skilled trades workers who have experience in the agricultural and construction sectors. More sectors might be included for it to be expanded in the future. To be eligible, the candidates must have:

  • Existing application in the system of Federal Express Entry.
  • A minimum of 12 months of paid work experience in Ontario in the last two years before the NOI in the National Occupation Classification is issued.
  • Proof of certification or license if your occupation requires it.
  • Valid work permit
  • Required level of proficiency in English or French
  • Proof of adequate funds to cover your expenses
