  • Ontario held a draw recently for PNP on February 09, 2023.
  • It issued NOIs to 510 candidates from the stream of Skilled Trades.
  • The candidates who had a score of 260 or more in CRS were invited.
  • The candidates who registered their profile on or after February 9, 2022, were eligible for the PNP draw of Ontario.

Abstract: On February 09, 2023, an OINP draw for the Skilled Trades stream was held, issuing 510 NOIs to international individuals.

Ontario conducted a PNP or Provincial Nominee Program draw for the candidates in the stream of Skilled Trades on February 09, 2023. It invited 510 candidates.

The applicants who scored from 260 to 489 in the CRS or Comprehensive Ranking System were issued NOIs or Notification of Interest. The candidates are now eligible to apply for a Canada PR visa.

The NOIs were sent by OINP or Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.

Who is eligible for the OINP Skilled Trades stream?

The eligibility criteria for the Skilled Trades stream for OINP are given in the table below:

Eligibility Criteria for Skilled Trades Stream for OINP
Category Requirements
Work Experience Candidates require at least 1 year of cumulative, paid, full-time work experience in any of the occupations listed in the  NOC codes. The work experience must be inOntario. There is no need to hold a valid job offer per the minimum criteria of this stream.
Valid certificate or licence If the work experience in Ontario is in a regulated trade, the candidate is required to have a valid certificate or licence.
Residence in Ontario The candidate is required to live in Ontario and have a valid Work Permit.
Language The candidate need to have the required score of CLB 5 in either French or English to qualify.
Settlement funds The candidate needs to have adequate funds to cover their expenses in Canada
Intent to settle in Ontario The candidate should should demonstrate their intent to settle in Ontario
Legal status in Canada When applying from Canada, the individual needs to have the required documentation
Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program The applicant should qualify for the Canadian Experience Class
