PEI PNP draw held on August 18, 2022

Prince Edward Island, also known as the Garden of the Gulf, has held a new provincial draw, inviting 121 skilled workers and entrepreneur Canada immigration candidates on August 18, 2022, with a minimum score of 97.

The Prince Edward Island invited 121 immigration candidates in the new provincial draw on August 18, 2022 for the skilled workers and entrepreneur candidates, through the Labor Impact, Express Entry, and Business Impact Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) streams.

Of all the 121 invitations, the candidates invited under the Labor Impact and Express Entry categories were 117, and 4 were under the Business impact category with a required high score of 97 points. As decided, the Canadian province had planned to hold one draw each month for the year 2022.

Eligibility criteria for PEI –PNP

Immigration candidates must obtain a minimum score, to be eligible for the Prince Edward Island Immigration that is calculated based on the following factors:

• Age
• Education
• Language Proficiency in English or French
• Work Experience

The Prince Edward Island introduced its Expression of Interest (EOI) system in the year 2018, conducting monthly draws since. PEI PNP has issued 1,933 invites in 2021, compared with 2020 inviting 1,955 immigration candidates.
