PEI PNP draw invites 161 immigration candidates, offers nomination

A round of invitations was conducted by Prince Edward Island on August 19, 2021. Through this PEI PNP draw, 161 immigration candidates were issued invitations to submit applications for a provincial nomination.

Most of the invitations were issued to Labor Impact and Express Entry candidates. They got 152 invitations. The remaining 9 invitations went to Business Impact candidates. These candidates required at least 72 points to be eligible in the PEI PNP system.

This was the 8^th PEI PNP draw held in 2021. Till now, the number of immigrants who were issued invitations by PEI has reached 1,194. The chosen candidates from PEI were selected on the basis of their experience, skills, and other qualities. They are expected to meet the demands of PEI’s labor market.

The PEI PNP draw will be conducted again on September 16, 2021.

How provincial nomination serves Express Entry candidates?

If you have an Express Entry profile, PNP could discover you as they have access to the Express Entry pool. If you are found to be a suitable candidate by a province, you will be issued an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination.

Along with a provincial nomination, you get 600 additional CRS points. It increases your chances of receiving an ITA for Canada PR in a federal immigration draw held in the future.

About Express Entry
