PEI PNP invites 153 candidates

Prince Edward Island conducted a draw recently under PEI PNP or Express Entry, Labour Impact, and Business Impact Prince Edward Island PNP. The draw issued invitations to 153 applicants for Canada PR or permanent residency.

The applicants in the Business Impact pool had to score a minimum of 62 points.

Details of the Draw

The Prince Edward Island PNP or Provincial Nominee Program draw sent out invitations to sixteen applicants from the Business Impact pool, and from the Labour Impact and Express Entry pool, 137 invitations were issued.

The ITA or Invitation to Apply enables foreign national immigrants to submit an application for Canada PR. Additional information on the number of applicants issued ITA in 2022 through the PEI PNP stream is given below.

In 2022, 690 applicants have been issued ITAs so far.

Stream of Prince Edward Island Express Entry

The applicants whose profile already exists in the pool of Express Entry are eligible for the PEI PNP.

The applicants who are nominated through PNP are awarded an additional 600 points in the CRS or Comprehensive Ranking System.

If the applicant's profile already exists in the PNP pool, the chance of being invited increases. The category has two pathways for people who migrate to Canada. One is aimed at the candidates with a job offer, and the other is for those who do not have a job offer.
