How does PGWP help in gaining Canada PR for international students?

International students, after graduating from their study program, can apply for PGWP. With the help of the PGWP, they can acquire the required work experience to become eligible for Canada PR.

PGWP is a primary way for international graduates to work in Canada. The open work permits facilitate holders of PGWP to work for Canadian employers. It has a validity of a maximum of 3 years.

The validity of PGWP depends on the duration of the post-secondary study program from which the candidate graduated.

It helps them add points in the CRS or Comprehensive Ranking System. CRS is used for Express Entry draws to nominate people for permanent residency in Canada.
