Abstract: Ontario has sent NOIs to 160 candidates who can speak French.

On December 13, 2022, Ontario conducted a draw for the candidates in the FSSW or French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream. It issued 160 NOIs or Notification of Interest letters to candidates. The draw was authorized by the OINP or Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.

The applicants who had the required skills in French were eligible.

Eligibility Criteria for FSSW

The FSSW is one of the streams in the PNP or Provincial Nominee Program. The PNP nominates candidates from the Express Entry pool. The candidates who are issued NOI can apply for a Canada PR visa. The eligibility criteria for the stream of FSSW are:

• Existing profile in the system of Express Entry
• Fulfill the criteria for these 2 pathways:
  • CEC or Canadian Experience Class
  • FSWP Federal Skilled Worker Program
• A score of at least 7 in the CLB or Canadian Language Benchmark in French.
• Sufficient funds to cover the expenses

The candidates who received NOIs have to submit their duly filled applications for Canada PR visa within 45 days through the online portal.
