Germany has set a new record for welcoming a huge number of international students in the 2021/22 winter semester. There are 350,000 international students in Germany pursuing their higher education now, as per the data by DAAD or the German Academic Exchange Service.
According to the reports by DAAD, the figure of foreign national students in Germany has increased by 8% in comparison to 2020-2021. It puts Germany in the top 4 study abroad destinations, behind the USA, the UK, and Australia.
