  • PR holders in over 279 jobs can stay permanently in the province
  • Earlier, only TEER 0,1,2,3 categories and designated trades were eligible
  • Applicants need to meet both stream-specific and general SINP eligibility
  • Saskatchewan currently has over 16,000 job vacancies

Saskatchewan province government has announced its' expanding list of jobs, making it possible for those specific job holders to apply for Permanent Residence (PR) in the province. The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), which is the province's Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), issues permission to holders.

Earlier, only work permit holders under TEER 0,1,2,3 categories and designated trades were eligible. Now, even lower-skilled persons working as farm labourers, truck drivers, retail sales staff, nurse aides, and more are eligible. The revised list has 279 jobs in total.

Saskatchewan wants to invite more immigrants in 2023, 2024, and 2025. It currently has over 16,000 job vacancies, and over 112,000 job vacancies are expected to be up for grabs in the next 5 years.
