Saskatchewan PNP issues invitations for 391 immigration candidates

Canadian provinces are providing great opportunities for skilled workers the world over to make progress in their careers. The provinces are conducting regular PNP draws to invite skilled and eligible immigration candidates.

Saskatchewan PNP issued invitations On September 27, 2021, to skilled immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination. There were 2 SINP draws conducted to issue the invitations. One was an Express Entry draw. The other was an Occupations In-demand draw.

In all, 391 candidates were sent invitations. Here’s how the draws went:

About Occupations In-Demand stream

This is a stream of SINP. It comes under the International Skilled Worker category. Candidates who are eligible under this stream possess experience in one of the in-demand occupations of Saskatchewan. They also had scored high enough on the Points Assessment Grid of SINP. Only then they can submit an EOI with Saskatchewan PNP.

Here are the criteria the candidates must meet for eligibility:

  • Post-secondary level of education (1 year)
  • Work experience of minimum a year at NOC level A, B, or 0, in an occupation not on the Excluded List of SINP.
  • Language proficiency of CLB level 4

About Express Entry stream

The Express Entry stream is a stream of SINP. It comes under the International Skilled Worker category. Candidates from the federal government’s Express Entry pool having a high level of experience and skill in an occupation not listed on SINP’s Excluded Occupation List may have the eligibility to submit an EOI under this stream.

Here are the criteria the candidates must meet to be eligible:

  • A prescribed level of language proficiency
  • Work experience of minimum a year at NOC level A, B, or 0, in an occupation not on the Excluded List of SINP.
  • Post-secondary level of education (1 year)
