SINP Agriculture Sector

The SINP agriculture Talent pathway is introduced for farmers and other employers in the agricultural sector to cope with the current labor shortages. The Agriculture Talent pathway applicants are eligible if they reside outside the province or have proof of lawful residing status in Canada and are not refugee claimants, as well as:

 

  • Have a language score of CLB 4 as per the Canadian Language Benchmark.
  • Completed high school or higher level education
  • Acquire full-time work experience for one year of past three years.
  • Proof of intention to work and reside in Saskatchewan
  • Have an offer from an eligible permanent agriculture sector

SINP Healthcare Sector

The Health Talent pathway is also being introduced to recruit and retain skilled workers for the healthcare sector. Under this stream, the procedure for all healthcare recruitment through the SINP is made more accessible.

 

Within the non-Express Entry sub-category of the Health Talent pathway, candidates can be eligible if they reside outside the province or have proof of lawful status in Canada but are not refugees and:

 

  • Have an English and French language score of at least CLB 5
  • Meet the required Work experience
  • Currently employed in Saskatchewan and worked there for six months.
  • If not working for their supporting employer full-time for at least six months, must have at least one year of work experience in their occupation within the last five years.
  • Must be permitted for Saskatchewan licensing
  • Have a job-related post-secondary education and have been offered a master’s or bachelor’s degree
  • Intention to work and reside in Saskatchewan
  • Have a job offer for a permanent full-time healthcare job sector

Candidates who will receive Priority processing

Federal government's Express Entry pool with (IRCC) accepted candidates are also eligible through the Express Entry stream of the Health Talent pathway. Candidates will get priority processing for PR. The processing time for this stream's PR application is maximum six months or less.

 

These candidates from the IRCC's Express Entry pool qualify for this sub-category if they live outside Canada or have proof of legal status in Canada but are not refugee claimants and:

 

  • Valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker code.
  • Have an English and French language score of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 or higher.
  • Acquire the work experience requirements

 

If applying from inside or outside of the province:

  • Acquire high-skilled related work experience in the one year of past five years
  • Be permitted for Saskatchewan licensing if necessary for the job
  • Have a post-secondary education related to the job
  • Attest to their intent to work and reside in Saskatchewan.
  • Have an offer for an eligible permanent, full-time health sector job in Saskatchewan.
